Getting together with family and friends over the holiday to play some games and enjoy the festivities is usually best topped off with a competitive, shirtless battle in after the turkey carving and the cherry pie eating has been put into the back of everyone’s minds. And of course, there are only certain songs best suited for raucous sessions during the holidays, and FreeStyle Games revealed what those songs were.

You can check out the top 20 list below, featuring the songs that were played most via GHTV between December 24th and January 3rd.

It’s nice to see that people really love listening and playing to good music and none of the trash that seems to frequent some radio stations and Twitter hashtags every so often when a certain band member changes their hair or gets accused of being a terrorist to women.

Anyway, the list confirms that people really love rock music, especially from the likes of legends such as ZZ Top, American Authors… and Tenacious D? Really? That’s crazy. It’s awesome to see that they made the top three.

There are some other classics in there are as well, such as “Cowboys From Hell” from Pantera – yes, the same Pantera that did the awesome song “Walk” that Rob Van Dam used when he was in ECW.

Other iconic songs like “Down with the Sickness” from Disturbed makes the cut, along with new-school rockers such as Five Finger Death Punch and the single “Jekyll and Hyde”.

The only teeny bopper content that makes the cut is Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song”.

FreeStyle Games have also added three new playable songs on the premium New Rock Revolution channel, and three new songs under the Festival Anthems channel. You can grab right now for home consoles and mobile devices. Need more info? Feel free to visit the official website.
